Kids Meal....and Other Things

Lots to catch up on.....so here we go!

First up, the day after New Years. I had the day off and played with Rachel all day. I got a few pictures of some of our activities. To start with, I want to show off her new super cute outfit that I absolutely am in love with:

Aren't those jeans just too adorable?! Amber and I found those at the Goodwill on a recent trip. Her shirt actually has a hood with it, so it's extra-stylish. (And nearly impossible to put on and take off. But it's cute, so she's wearing it!!)

Then we played in the laundry basket....
....and took apart the newspaper....
.....and played with Duplo Blocks.

Then after a bath we played ball with Monty....

....and finally finished off the evening with a good book.

This past Sunday Jason and I went out for Sushi with this special girl. While she stuck with her ham and cheese, she did taste a lemon (faces were hilarious! But not caught on camera...)and she gave chopsticks a try:

Then on Monday night of this week, Rachel was kind of hyper and looked funny after a bath. Her hair is starting to grow, so after a bath it doesn't dry right away....rather, it sticks up in all directions and makes her look like a puff ball. Since she was in a good mood before bed (and trust me, she was NOT in a good mood after we put her to bed and she refused to sleep)....I got some pictures of her being happy. These pajamas are a set GramE got her for Christmas. Cousin Alana has a matching set. And while they are cute, the feets of them are too big, which results in an adorable look

Can anyone else hear Eduardo Hill singing the "Lololololo" song?:

"Indian" noise....

Not quite steady on her feet yet....
Happy Hands!!

"Muh-ohm......stop with the pictures already!"

Finally, last night I purchased Rachel's first Kid's Meal. (Okay....so it's the first kids meal I have purchased for her.) She had chicken nuggets, and I'd brought along some fruit. Although they were kind of chewy, she did well with them and ate them all. She also made sure she had one in each hand the entire time she was eating.

That's an update on our girl!
