Tripod Amendment

Rachel woke up from her wonderfully long nap quite happy and energetic, so I decided to see just how she did when we put her the tripod position. Check this kid out:
Not only does she love NY, she loves to sit up.....ON HER OWN. Take that!! We're not such terrible parents after all....we just never let her sit up on her own. Now we'll work with her more as she's still wobbly, but she's pretty strong! I'm a much happier mommy now :o)

Don't worry too much about it. Kids all develop differently. Ashley was 5 months when she rolled over, and right at 6 months when she sat up on her own. She was born 3 weeks early. Walking may stress you out too, but remember this.... Ashley's doctor told us kids would walk anywhere from 9 months to 17 months, and there was nothing out of the ordinary for them to start a little later (Ash was 13 months). So don't stress yourself too much about it. From the pic you posted, it looks like she's doing great. :)
